Climate: Arunachal Pradesh is a large state and it has topographical diversity, the climate in Arunachal Pradesh ranges from sub-tropical to temperate depending upon the altitude. In the plains temperature can reach in the 40s and can be hot and humid.

Arunachal Pradesh gets a good rainfall from May to September. It also gets snowfall in the higher regions, closer to Tibet border. Climate is almost alpine in these regions with. In the lower reaches temperature during winters do remain between 10 to 15 degrees.

Cuisine: Arunachal Pradesh is a state of different tribes and their food habit vary from each other. Despite this, there are broad similarities. Rice beer is also an essential part of Arunachal cuisine, even though the methods of making rice beer vary from tribes to tribes. Thupka, a noodle based soup with vegetables or mined meat, is also popular with a few tribes like Monpa.
